Knowledge gathering and sharing is imperative to robust conservation and ecosystem recovery. Collectively, our team has over three-and-half decades of boots-on-ground" research experience including for key species such as African lion, painted dogs, pangolin, elephant, buffalo, leopard, wild salmon and river otter.
Our approach is not "helicopter" science or conservation. We authentically and effectively engage and build on-site experts to facilitate traditional and scientific data collection and integration towards impactful conservation outcomes.
In 2022, we launched a series of coastal biodiversity surveys in partnership with scientists from Eduardo Mondlane University and University of Lurio to gather baseline data on endemic and threatened/endangered species.
Our team is also collaborating with Dr. Samuel Wasser of the University of Washington on the genetic profiling of pangolin seizures from Central Mozambique.
